I like his acting but I was wondering what was his breakout role?

I feel like I just saw him in Ex Machina and he started popping up in a ton of movies.

Probably Inside Llewyn Davis but his Victor Frankenstein like character in Ex Machina is what really bought my attention.

Inside Llewyn Davis was where I kept my eye on him... but I also remembered he had a role in Drive.
