HORRIBLE in Taken!

Just saw this movie on Friday night. She was HORRIBLE in it.

1. She's like 26 years old - why did she play a 16 year old?

2. What 16 year old acts like a bubbly 12 year old? She was practically skipping around and her "oh daddy!" and pouting when Daddy wouldn't let her go at first was NAUSEATING. Her portrayal was so unrealistic and insulting to teens out there.

3. The 'singer' in the film looked like she was about the right age so why were they so hard up to use Maggie Grace? And/or why was she so hard up to do this role?

uhhh, no. i don't appreciate you interpreting my comment as so ignorant.

what i DID mean was that she acted like a dumb, overly silly, immature 12 year old. "Ohhh a horsey. thank you daddy". Not a 16 year old, educated teen who lives in a mansion with her mom, probably goes to the best private school and has tons of friends. The character was a U2 groupie who didn't want to have sex (so why the 'slut' comment) yet but wanted to go to europe.

Grow a brain, open your mind and try to understand what you read on these boards.

I liked her character but you are right. The second time I watched it, I noticed her skipping around. That's the directors fault.

the way she ran in the movie was so distracting. i mean i usually hate it when folks pick apart mannerisms like that, but it was just so gosh darn ridiculous.

No this girl is naturally clumsy... You can tell throughout the movie she was almost spastic.. She even admits it in her bio that she is awkward & she trips up alot... Its funny that others beside me noticed this..

I just watched a movie she was in called '12 Mile Road' (made for TV on Lifetime) and at one point she sees her dad and yells "Daddyyyyyyyyy" and goes running over to him. I'm thinking "Hmmm. She runs like a special needs child" and just then my wife says "I think this is the same girl that was in Taken. She runs like her, anyway."
