I just read a great (old) interview with him from Germany and I was surprised when they wrote that he actually talked fluent german. (He said he would love to play in a Tom Tykwer movie, which would be amazing!) Now I read a lot about how talanted he is with languages but what really interests me is:

Does anyone have a clip that shows him talking german?

I´ve been on youtube, but I can´t find anything. I would sooooo love to hear him talking in my mother tongue!

By the way: Since his new movie "Carlos the Jackal" seems to be a german production with many german actors, will he talk german as well???

i saw last year a german interview on youtube i think it was about the bourne ultimatum film but i think it's gone... im spanish spoken person so can't say anything about his german accent!

i think Edgar has a fan channel on youtube called "catireramirez" u can ask if they have that interview...

Edgar Ramirez speaks fluently FIVE LANGUAGES:

* Spanish
* English
* German
* Italian
* French

Since his childhood has lived in Austria, Canada, Colombia, Italia, Mexico, and of course Venezuela, because his father were a Venezuelan diplomatic in Military affairs.

Despite all this, Edgar is a very humble, down-to-earth person.

I have just seen Carlos and have to respect this man for speaking four languages in addition to his own. People like him put us to shame, I know he moved around a lot as a child but some people would have left it at their native tongue. His English in the film was very good but I give him huge respect for his French and what I could hear of his German. I can follow French generally although I am not fluent and began Spanish a couple of years ago but lack of finance has prevented me continuing. I salute you Mr Ramirez.

Perfect package! Smart and handsome! I'm trying to learn french and I'm having issues, but to learn 5 different languages is amazing!
