After watching the Killing and being a big fan of the Jo Nesbo Harry Hole series, I could very much see Joel in the title role if an English speaking movie was to be made.

The Snowman is in development. Kinnaman is a great actor but I thought Harry Hole is closer to 50 than 40, and Kinnaman is 35.

They are developing the Snowman book and Harry is in his late 30's, early 40's in that book.

Still, after the Killing, would Kinnaman want to play another cop with a drug/alcohol problem? Well, he played another cop in Robcop, so maybe he does not care.
