Did Hemsworth audition for the Star Wars Anakin Skywalker role?

Did George Lucas ever audition Chris? Lucas was in Australia while filming the Star Wars Prequels & Chris Hemsworth was in the right age group at that time plus he was on Aussie TV. How awesome would that have been had Chris gotten that role. He's a perfect fit.

Well, the thing is Chris and Natalie have non existent chemistry in the Thor movies, Star WArs would have been worse. To be honest, I'm glad he didn't get it. People were awful to Hayden Christensen when he did have some solid good moments. A lot of the cast had some poor acting moments, he was singled out the most though.

Natalie seems to have zero chemistry with Hayden as well.
