How sad!

This is something I have noticed amongst these young actresses struggling in L.A; they often give off that "valley girl" vibes which just doesn't cut it anymore these days in modern movies. Those days are over and they need to move on with the times. Now there are loads and loads of young actresses being brought into Hollywood from foreign countries like Britain, Australia, New Zealand, etc. Now there seem to be a high demand for these foreign actresses and even actors for some weird reasons, as though any actress that has a British or Aussie accent would make any movie more interesting.

I believe the whole "valley girl" thing is fading pretty fast and movie audiences are now turned off by it because they often lack range. Ms Lucas seems to fit quite well in that category, she has been doing cheesy series like 90210, Melrose Place, Friends with Benefits, etc which really puts her in that valley girl box that indicates she lacks range. She needs to do something different if she hopes to advance her career, the cinema going audience do not care much for the valley girl cheesiness, and I bet movie directors find it excruciatingly boring.
