Congratulations to Jessica Lucas. I am glad she is working. I'm hoping this show gets picked up. This could be the break that Jessica needs to become a big star. We are all rooting for her.

Though some people like to draw a distinction between black and whatever Jessica's DNA holds, I believe the main point is that it's the first time the CW has cast a woman of color as a lead in any show in their 7 year history. So the CW is finally realizing that it's not white people alone that have the talent and beauty to draw people in to watch television shows. Amazing that it took so long, but I guess kudos are in order - better late than never...
