She could play the Marvel Comics character Monica Rambeau aka Spectrum, who has been a member of the Avengers, the NextWave and the Ultimates.
She could easily be brought into some of the next Avengers films.
Monica is a former New Orleans police detective (Harbor Patrol) who was caught in a science experiment's accidental explosion, and gained powers of turning herself into all aspects of the electromagnetic spectrum.
