Has he quit Tintin?
I read somwhere recently that Thomas had quit the production of Spielberg's Tintin due to difficulties in the filming schedule. Is this true?

I haven't heard anything about it. But, if we're just basing this off of imdb, I don't see what scheduling conflicts there would be. The only other movie listed besides Tintin is Brightstar, which is already in post-production; and he's out of school.
I also saw an interview a few days ago (although I'm not sure when it came out) with Thomas Sangster talking about being Tintin and how exciting it will be.
So, fingers crossed for TS.

I read the same thing jvh5. But, its unoffcial :(. I hope he didn't quit, i was SO excited for him.

A number of online publications say that he' quit the project because it has been postponed several times :(

Well, if the rumour is true, then it'll leave more time for him to do other films. I'm hoping for an Indie film or two, myself.

That sucks for him if there was no way out of it. You would think he would just ditch whatever projects he was attached to even if it meant pissing people off since we are talking about being in a spielberg film, then a jackson film, then another film being directed by either jackson or spielberg.
shareDon't forget a script written by Steven Moffat - newly famed Doctor Who writer over in the UK. Most actors would kill to get their hands on a script of his.
Maybe he has other, more important plans, though. He doesn't seem very concerned with fame and wealth, so it's probably not that big of a deal for him as it would be for most actors.

I hope his is staying in Tintin. Or just start working on other films. His page only has Bright Star saying Post-Production. And everytime i get on here i'm hoping to c a new movie but, everytime...I'm disapointed !
