Is he really considered 'Good Looking'??

I'm not trying to make fun of him, but he has:

-low cheekbones
-lots of baby-fat
-big round nose
-big ears

Now compare him to any movie star. Why is he considered "handsome"?

"is he really considered 'Good Looking'??"

Yes, yes he is. I think he's hot as hell. And sexy too. Funny how that works, isn't it?

It's probably a mix of his personality and his "cute looks" that makes him attractive. When a guy is funny and cool like he is, it sort of makes you like him. It's not all about looking perfect like a model. He looks like a kind person and sort of goofy in an attractive way. So maybe he is not classical good looking like a Brad Pitt, but all his strong points combined makes him good looking or maybe attractive is a better word.

Define "good-looking", or "handsome" or "gorgeous".

As a kid I had "Charlie's Angels" posters on my walls (really!). There was crooked nose, square-jawed and big teeth Farrah Fawcett, and cookie-cutter beautiful Cheryl Ladd. I preferred the unique beauty. Cheryl is pretty, but not uniquely so.

Nowadays you could pick apart Linda Evangelista's nose and gumline but by golly of all today's models I'll remember that beauty in 50 years!

Same with guys. Look at how people swoon over Jason Statham or Orlando Bloom or Viggo Mortensen. No cookie-cutter features there!

John does it for me - he may not be conventionally handsome but it's all subjective anyhow. In "Something Borrowed" I guess Colin Egglesfield would be considered the "hot one", very handsome, fantastic physique, but given the choice (I wish!) I'd choose John every time, he's gorgeous!

I can't speak for all women, but a lot of what I find attractive about a guy is their personality (or their character's personality), how they treat other people, their facial expressions, everything all coming together at once. I just find Jim Halpert hot (and he is hottest when Dwight is actually upset, like when Dwight was listening to "Everbody Hurts" in his car very loudly, or when he tried to take Dwight to the hospital for his concussion...

Plus, everyone else on "The Office" seems utterly insane, and sanity can start to seem really attractive in that scenario.
