Having seen his acting in House of Cards, he's so phenomenal as Peter Russo and he brought so much layers to the character and looks capable enough to carry a lead role.
While season 2 had 4 leads (Farell, Vaughn, McAdams and Kitsch), would love to see him alongside with Carrie Coon, Jack Huston and Mads Mikkelsen as the antagonist.
For the setting and timeline, 1960's to late 1980's, covering the Cold War.
