Over 20 years later, she's whining about the nanny

She did an interview and talked about varied topics; one was the nanny, of course. I really don't know what exactly she is trying to get at, but she said that she wasn't treated right, like only half human. What the frig does that mean? She comes across as an extremely bitter woman. Is she mad that because of the nanny she's unable to get certain jobs? There are many examples of former child stars growing into successful adults,,acting wise. Jodie foster, dakota fanning, anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon levitt, Scarlett johansson, Natalie Portman, Leonardo dicaprio, ryan gosling. They were able to grow from what made them initially famous and blossom into talented performers.

Maybe she actually wasn't treated right...and she's been in movies and tv shows since then sooo...i don't get your point.

With the exception of Joseph Gordon Levitt, none of the other actors mentioned were on long running iconic TV shows. Breaking away from the stigma of being a child actor is extremely difficult, maybe 1 in 100 are able to do so, and the more associated that child actor is with a given TV role in the eyes of the general public, the more difficult it is. Having "talent" plays a role, but so does connections and luck.

Then why did she show up for the Nanny reunion 5 years ago, called A Nosh To remember? She looks very happy there.
Also, she seemd very close to Fran and the others during behind the scenes specials we saw. Of course we know nothing, but I don't 100% trust her whining.

she's probably a little annoyed that everyone knows her as the little girl from the nanny. She probably wants to be known for something else. I've heard alot of actors end up hating their breakout role because that's what they end up getting known for their entire lives. they hate that the public doesn't acknowledge their other work. seems to be that this might be the case for her.

she was a 8 when she started the Nanny so i would think that her age would mean that the other actors and the people on set would go out of their way to make her feel more comfortable, no??

Why do people come on here and whine yet expect respect? People are allowed to discuss issues without having to be ridiculed.

Maybe she doesn't hate her co-stars? You can hate your job, and the people who run it, without hating your coworkers.
