Kevin Zegers as Clyde?

I have actually really liked Kevin Zegers performances in movies like "Transamerica" and "Jane Austin's Book Club" and others. I have respected many of his choices. That's partly why I am so disappointed in him as an actor for signing on for a remake of one of the greatest films of all-time, "Bonnie and Clyde" opposite one of the worst actresses of out time, Hilary Duff.

There is absolutely no reason for Hollywood to remake a movie that got it right the first time. If a movie wasn't good...fine...remake it and fix the things that were wrong. Don't butcher a classic. I would hope that a respected actor or actress would feel the same. I'm sad to say that Mr. Zegers has lost all credibility as a serious actor based on his choice.

Sometimes you've gotta do what you've gotta do to keep your name in the mix. He did a good job with his guest role in Gossip Girl, so he could be awesome at this too.

I agree, Im a Zegers fan but I don't think that Hollywood should of remade a classic such as Bonnie and Clyde.

Actually it isn't a remake of the original but rather a film that will be more true the actual events and characters they were based on.

"a movie that got it right the first time"

Sure, if we consider the original movie "Bonnie & Clyde" a pure work of fiction. But, it's not. It takes a "real" story, and butchers it terribly.
