shareActually, short will work to his advantage. Tom Cruise is a vain little midget whose ego is already suffering due to a paycut on this film and being made to play mentor to a younger actor.
Though Zegers is still taller than Cruise, he won't absolutely dwarf Cruise. The two other actors mentioned are 5'11 and 6'. Tom Cruise is about 5'5" (don't believe what you read).
Tom could maintain a bit of dignity with Zegers, instead of looking like the horse jockey mascot.
I think Zeger's smaller stature will help him more than hurt him given the people involved who have pull.
