'Girl Walks Into a Bar' World Premiere at SXSW + on YouTube

For the second time in three months (after Vampire at Sundance) Kevin has a film with its World Premiere at a major film festival. Girl Walks Into a Bar will debut at SXSW in Austin, Texas on the festival's opening night, Friday, March 11.

I will be covering SXSW for the sixth time this year and hope to cover the event. There is one challenge -- they only have one screening and it takes place at the same time as the festival's official opening night film Source Code, which also has only one screening. I have to cover that film.

I doubt Kevin will be there anyway since he only has a small part. But I'm waiting to see if they will have a press screening or let me see the film ahead of time somehow so I can review it before it hits the web.

Either way, the public will have the chance to see it at the same time. It is one of the first feature films ever produced specifically for distribution on the Internet and will be on YouTube at youtube.com/screeningroom in conjunction with the SXSW Film Festival and Lexus.
