'The Entitled' Blu-Ray and DVD Date!

Being one of the only 5 people looking forward to this, I'll probably buy it. Really want a trailer first to make up my mind though...

You're either playing dumb, or it's not an act.

I guess I'm one of the 5 lol. Was anticipating a Toronto premiere but, oh well.

Here's the press release:
Anchor Bay will release the 2011 thriller The Entitled, starring Kevin Zegers (Frozen) and Ray Liotta (Something Wild), on Blu-ray and DVD on Sept. 6, for the list prices of 29.99 and $26.98, respectively.

In the movie, Zegers stars as Paul Dynan, who doesn’t have the security of the job he dreamed of so he plans the perfect crime to help his struggling family: extort a fortune from three wealthy men (Liotta, Titanic's Victor Garber, and A History of Violence's Stephen McHattie). He plans to abduct their socialite children and collect a healthy ransom of $3 million. Well, the kidnapping part goes okay, but it doesn’t take too long before blood is shed and the entire scheme begins to unravel.

Directed by Aaron Woodley (Rhinoceros Eyes) and also starring Laura Vandervoort (TV's V) and @devbostick Devon Bostick (Diary of a Wimpy Kid), the film is premiering in the U.S. on Blu-ray and DVD.

Bonus features include a filmmakers’ commentary track, a behind-the-scenes featurette and an alternate ending.

Looks like it has a decent budget and someone who knows how to work a camera behind it. Sucks that most of Kevin's films are going either limited or DTV. At least he's almost always a lead or supporting role though.

Yup, same director/cinematographer team who did Tennessee, a much-maligned(probably because it starred Mariah Carey) but sweet little indie I saw at Tribeca in 2008. Worth a look.

I was hoping this would debut at Toronto -- Kevin Zegers and Devon Bostick are actually #1 and #2 in having films there over the past 6 years -- but with his prolific output of indies I'm sure we'll see plenty of Kevin's films at future festivals.
