I was just walking up 9th Ave. in Hell's Kitchen, NYC and he was walking by alone. I said "Dean", he turned around and I told him how much I liked Oz. He was really nice and asked my name and shook my hand. He really made eye contact and has very nice eyes! I said I wished I had my camera and he made a joke about his hair from the rain. I've been in NYC over 20 years but I still love seeing actors I like!

shareHe was very funny on 30 Rock--he can do comedy and drama. I think he could carry a series on tv. I've seen him in the Allstate commercials so at least he's working but he needs to be in a movie or series!

shareI know! He probably would have been fine with me taking a photo, too--he was so friendly. I'm glad he's getting paid well but I agree--he needs to be on a good series. He was on Law and Order but not anymore? I never saw that one. His character on OZ was fantastic. What a show!
shareI also met him a few years ago, he was SO sweet! At the time I didn't even know his name, just that he was on Law & Order and a few other shows. He actually introduced himself and asked me MY NAME. What sort of celebrity acts like that??!? SUCH A NICE GUY! Love him!
shareIf you can handle "Oz", he's so great in that. He has a major role and his character is fascinating. It's pretty harsh stuff--men's prison but the actors and characters and writing are fantastic.
shareI've seen him a couple of times too. Once was in the Village at a Belgian restaurant that is unfortunately gone now. He was at the bar having a drink and I sat next to him with one of my buddies before we got our table. He was really cool. The other time was even nicer because I saw him with Chris Meloni at the private Soho House club in the meatpacking. I was hoping they would rage and cause some drama but they were just chill hanging with a couple of other people. I love NYC.
