Will there ever be 'MAYHEM! The Movie'?

Mayhem is probably the best TV commercial character ever created. Somebody out there must take the next step from being in commercials to the big screen! Even though I'm not a huge fan of Michael Bay, he's obvious the perfect director for the movie! Who agrees?

LOL well the last time an insurance commercial tried to transition to something more than that, it ended pretty badly (even though I was a fan of the Cavemen show, but I was probably one of like 4, lol). I can understand why they'd be gun-shy about trying it again, so I wouldn't bet on it. That's not to say I wouldn't watch it, tho.

It's a stretch, but it could be done as a comedy-spook movie, along the lines of "Beetlejuice." Perhaps a story about an insurance or car salesman who had gotten himself in The Gods' bad graces somehow, and Mayhem was the payback. Or, more interesting, make that a salesWOMAN and have Mayhem turn human at the end. Admittedly weak, but with a good comedy writer it could work.

Haha I totally forgot about the Caveman show I watched the first episode. I love Mayhem I would watch a movie with him.

LOL
I love the Mayhem spots- some of my all time favorite commercials.
I have no clue how they could translate that into a movie but I'd go see it. :P

Perhaps a 'dead guy' that can't pass on until he completes a series of tasks- jumping into different circumstances as "Mayhem" for punishment and/or redemption??
Sheesh IDK- but it would be interesting to see.

You may have something there, Pikabo. How about a spirit out for revenge on an insurance company? I'm sure there are enough of us out there who have wished death on insurance people (who, in my personal opinion, were left rolling in the surf when the rest of the animals stood up and walked out of the sea).

LOL PattyJones! Yeah, I admit, I've had a few very bad thoughts about some of my insurance agents. That shock collar would come in very handy at 'quote' time. lol

So we have a basic storyline- "Restless spirit insures revenge against unevolved agent." Bad, bad pun.
Now we just need a script writer.

... in this case, the proper word would be "ensure" rather than "insure." I'm a grammar freak of sorts. ENSURE means make sure of something, whereas one INSURES against something (like illness or accident or other catastrophe).

Anyway, you're right. With a gifted screenwriter we could have one helluva funny movie.

Wow strange I just happened to check in here right after you, that rarely happens to me. LOL

Yeah, I knew the proper word but it didn't work as well with the 'insurance' theme so I used 'poetic' or in this case writer's license.
