It's good while the career lasted for her, I guess it's downhill from then on! :)

There are a lot of child stars who stop at some point and do not continue into adulthood, or pick it up again once they're in their early 20's or whatever. That's what young actresses like Tina Majorino (the little girl from movies like "Corrina, Corrina") have done, and as far as I know, Mara is working on some independent films right now and trying to get back into the business.

I think the child stars from Mara's generation are very different from the kids you see now in movies. If Mara Wilson was a little girl right now, she'd probably have the same booming career as Abigail Breslin and Dakota Fanning, because child stars seem to be used a lot more in films these days.
