Im actually glad that she isnt acting anymore

You see it all the time child actors going from cute kids on the big screen straigh to adults still acting see them that they cant actually aact because they havent actually been trained. atleast shes learning and improving her skill, so when she does finally decide to come back to tv shell be great
I mean look at the olsen twins, lindsay lohan, hilary duff, amanda byne i mean they were good when they had that cute factor, but when that went they couldnt act at all! because they didnt train anywhere they just got jobs because they were who they are.

I agree with the original poster. And with the second poster. No, you don't need training to be an actor. But you do need training to be a GOOD actor.

Of course, there are exceptions to that rule and there will always be naturally-talented actors who have never been trained. But, going with the original poster's sentiment, if you're a child actor and grow up acting without training, you're more likely to still have that childish slant on your technique. Just an opinion.
