Courageous

I loved his speech at the BET awards. He spoke the truth and I hope everyone takes action based on what he said.

They did! 25+ cops shot within days of the speech. Go Jesse! 😮

Nice rkind1025.

And about Jesse. I HATED that speech. He didn't tell no truth! He told a bunch of exaggerated, ingratiated Bullsh!t! Everytime I see that ugly face of his when I click on his page, I wanna reach inside my computer screen and strangle the little fker!

Yeah. Hopefully he will grow up. People need to know that they just can't go talking hate on national television. It is irresponsible. There are crazy people out there just waiting for a reason to explode.

Settle down Iceman lol

As I have noted on this site a few times. we are giving this idiot what he wants ; attention. He is a no name actor who also happens to be a bigot. So what does he do? He goes on national TV and spews crap. It was actually a somewhat smart move if you think about it. There were hardly any posts on this board or knowledge that he even existed. He's like the drummer from REO Sppedwagon. Nobody knows who he is.

Now, I will say. There are serious injustices happening to blacks across the country. They are being harassed by cops and in some areas. Being treated VERY poorly. And being a white person. I apologize for that, but. With the exception of Charles Barkley, Morgan Freeman, and a few others. Black people don't want to mention their high crime rates.

Or the fact that more white people are killed by cops than black people. I have never been a racist person. But that doesn't mean I don't notice a lot, not all. But a lot of the problems that black people cause themselves. I mean 13% of the population and over 70% of the crime. Those are alarming numbers. Espcecially th

I respectfully disagree, agent.

His career is basically over. That hateful rant pretty much did him in. Many people in Hollywood are gonna believe that that crap he spewed, galvanized the sick minds across the nation to take violent action against the police. One thing's for sure, that speech made people hate the police, no doubt about that. Nothing "courageous", just sick words from a sick mind and Hollywood was listening.

And as far as the injustices go, they happen to everybody, black, white, latino. Black people as a group, tend to commit most of the violent crimes even though we're just 13% of population. So guess what? As a group, black people will be scrutinized more than let's say, asian people. And I, as a black man, (albeit begrudgingly) except that. Even though my criminal record is clean as can be, how can I be mad at the police? They're just doing their jobs. No, I'm mad at the people who make my race look bad; which, makes me a victim of generalization. I've been to Rio de Janeiro, and the cops there don't wait to check IDs. They just put a bullet in you. They'll put a bullet in you while you're running away. You have no reason to "apologize" for nothing, agent. That's what these sick people want you to feel. Apologetic, guilty and charitable, for something you had nothing to do with. Please don't do that. That just makes things worse.

Yeah, I'm glad that happened.

If by definition "truth" means: Manipulating facts and lying.
