He Should be Snake in Metal Gear
After seeing him in 300, I thought he would make a great solid snake in Metal Gear. Maybe I'm letting myself be influenced by the whole eye-patch thing. But whatever. It's a thought. What do you think?

shareI kinda thought the same thing after watching that. Maybe it was the eye-patch thing. Plus snake's name is David...
Yeah this guy is in my top three or so favorite Snake candidates.
"But Captain, wouldn't it be more humane-like to slit his throat?"
Snakes names isn't david, david hayters is the guy that voiced snake in the english language version of the game.
shareErm, Snake says his real name is David in MGS1.
shareHeh, kind of funny to see that I wasn't the only one thinking this. It HAD to be the eye-patch thing and his somewhat gravelly voice as Delios that us think of it.
But here's the funny thing: A lot of people I've heard say Sean Bean should be Liquid if he's to be in the Metal Gear movie.
Now imagine Sean and David as the Snakes. Wait a tick, weren't they brothers in another film? :P
I'm sure I wasn't the only one to think of that, as well.
I'm in full support of David Wenham being Solid Snake in a MGS movie after seeing him in 300 as well Sean Bean as Liquid.
It really couldn't get any more perfect than these two once again reprising a brother type of role on the silver screen together.
Oh, im with ya here....
He has the voice eh?
I really think David Hayter should play the part. Just some muscles and there you have it. Wenham may have a suitable voice but no voice is like Hayter's.
"Can I ask what you expected to see from a Torquay hotel window? Sydney Opera house, perhaps?"
yeah i think he can pull that off easy
