We all know MW likes to play up the comedy and goofiness....
but take a look at some of the older photos of him walking thru airports or when he has a book in his hands...That man takes 'light reading' to a whole new level...
Just listening to him talk on the rare occasions that he allows himself a moment of introspection tells me he is far more intelligent and educated than he lets on. I've also noticed the literature he seems to enjoy and you're right about it not being 'light reading". Also, just look at all of his talents and how quick on his feet he is - that level of creativity and mental acuity takes some major smarts!

It is a shame that he feels like he has to play the goofy guy all the time. would love it if he dropped that persona and would just be himself.
Most heroes wear capes, my heroes wear dog tags and kevlar.
Maybe that's what he likes playing.
