Of all the Hollywood writers, producers and directors, I can't believe no-one has had the foresight to make The Stainless Steel Rat. Michael Weatherly was born for that part as Danny DeVito was born to be the Penguin. Come on dudes.
James Bolivar DiGriz? Slippery Jim? Who else could play that character? Only Mr Weatherly.

Heinlein doesn't translate to film very well.

But yeah, if they could pull it off, he'd be great.

Personally, I'd rather see him as Retief.
