So he's leaving NCIS to be a producer
I think he'll be sorely missed by loyal viewers. The show survived Cote de Pablo's departure (though I don't think too much about Emily Wickersham). I wonder who will replace him.

shareIve always thought that they should bring back dwayne wilson (he was an applicant to ncis) in the one episode he was in he helped solve a bank robbery/murder stoped the bad guys from getting away and saved a innocent
shareI agree. I liked him too.
shareI've always been a huge Tony fan, and will miss the character a lot. But when Sasha Alexander left, and then her replacement, Cote, I was really pleased with the way the producers handled it. Loved Cote, and love Emily. I don't see on this board any comments or hopes as to how Tony will leave or what type of character may come in. I don't know what to hope for, except that the producers will do as well as they have in the past.
My subject line is in reference to something Michael W. Said when Sasha chose to leave the show after two seasons. I think it was on a DVD extra, and his remark was something along the lines of "who walks away from a number one show?". So I guess he's answered his own question. To be fair, he has given the show what could be considered his peak years as a leading man by some, though as I still think of Mark Harmon the way I did when he was on St Elsewhere, maybe that's not true! But he did give us a lot more than two years. I wish him well producing, if that's what he does, and hope that Tony gets a happy ending, not a bullet. Whether it's with Ziva or not I don't care as long as he's happy. The character deserves.
Wonderful show. Thank you to all who use these boards with thoughtfulness and without venom. Life is too short.
Didn't accept my new subject line which was "words that haunt". I hope Michael doesn't come to regret leaving the show. I rather imagine he and Mark Harmon talked extensively before he made his final decision, or I hope so.
shareTony's finale we see the 2 new probies.
After 305 episodes or so.........he'd about played out Tony D

Didn't he say it's to spend time with family? Odd though, since he's the lead in a new show, if anything, you'd think that would mean less family time.
shareThey shoot Bull in New York. Michael Weatherly told in an interview that his oldest son and a few other close relatives of him live in that area.
