I thought he did an excellent job in tonight's episode.

I agree! These last two episodes, Paul Wesley has totally knocked it out of the park! Great acting skills that I caught glimpses of in earlier episodes, but these last two episodes....WHOA! Took my breath away. He is so interesting to watch, especially his eyes! Anyone know if he's a method actor? Those scenes with Elena were intense!

I could not agree more! The last two to three episodes were his best. However, I remember very well the scene with him throwing away his diary in episode 9 'History Repeating' and the scene in episode 10 'The Turning Point' when Elena tells him that she loves him. The look on his face...priceless!!!
