Did he change his last name? Why?
I heard he was Polish, but Wesley does not seem Polish. Then I saw his real last name on here. Why did he change it? The other one is better. Haha.

I guess to make it more mainstream, end the inevitable pronounciation and spelling errors, and avoid being asked about it in EVERY single interview.

Its not but from based on what I have witnessed Americans dont try very hard to correctly pronounce foreign names. Maybe its different elsewhere?
sharebut they try Hayden Pannettiere (Claire in Heroes) has a "peculiar" last name and even on IMDB it says how it should be pronounced and I've noticed that Journalists try to pronounce it correctly, so they would get used to wasilewski as well...

Paul Thomas Wasilewski! -- beautiful name!
shareone of my dad's cousins, they changed their last name to make it more english.......and there are others that i know of...like ukranians have the last name if wright, tower, watson.......all changed at one point in time.....so it will always be the trend..as well as the spelling...
alot of the names have yk at the end...yet you insist on putting ick so....yup..pronounciation, spelling, the like...are always trampled on....no matter where

he shouldn't have had to change his name......arnold never did......
and when you get used to saying a polish name, it's not really that hard.....i know tones of polish people..and sometimes their names are easier to pronounce then english ones....lol
