I thought Paul is taller than Ian.

Paul is listed as 5'6 on the TVD forums. Although really Ian is only 5'9? He looks way taller for some odd reason.

He's 5'11. Not sure exactly about Ian, but I don't think that there is much height difference b/w Paul and Ian. Either way, Paul is definitely not shorter than Ian. If anything, they are about the same height.

Ian is listed as 5'9" and based on the heights in an interview with Jimmy Fallon where Rosie O'Donnell was the other guest, 5'9" is a generous assessment of his height. Ian does appear to be taller than Paul on TVD, but that could just be how things are filmed and it's hard to judge someone's height based on a tv show or a movie because (1) you don't know how tall the other people on the show really are and (2) filming tricks can be used to make someone appear taller than their actual height.

I have no idea how tall Paul is. 5'6" seems extremely short, but Tom Cruise is that height and you wouldn't know it from his films.

I was actually really curious about his height, so I googled pictures of him with the other actors from TVD and found out that he is the same height as Zach Roerig (he plays Matt). Zach is 5'11, thus Paul is 5'11. I've also noticed that in most pictures of Paul and Ian, Paul is usually standing a couple of inches behind Ian, which creates the idea that Ian is taller or the same height as Paul.(In most cases, the photographers angle/position Ian and Paul awkwardly to create such manipulation, Idk if I'm making sense, so just google pictures of them :D). Plus, Paul has a horrible posture, he tends to slouch while Ian stands up straight. Ehh.

That's a good photo to use because its a candid and not staged! But you're still assuming that Zach Roerig is really 5'11" (although I would say that they are both closer to 5'11" than 5'6" as was previously suggested because it would be unlikely to have three men on the same show all under the average male height). So I think it's likely that they are between 5'9" and 5'"11.

Actually if you google Zach Roerig's height, you'll find out that he's 5'11 :D.

Well, based on these pictures he's about the same height as Ian.Ian is listed as 5'9", so I would say Paul is that height too. 5'10" at the most. 5'9"-5'10" is average for a male. It's not short like some people saying above.
