Many years ago she sang on a variety show, possibly Carol Burnett. She sang a Barry Manilo song that blew me away. Anybody else remember it? Wasn't she great?

but she did some great episodic tv shows, I remember well.
It could have been the Rich Little Show. I just don't remember ever watching it. And now we get to enjoy seeing Jessica in Arrested Development.
shareShe also sang Downtown in one of the episodes of Arrested Development. She did that (instead of sex) to an Army General to rescue her son from Army duty. Instead the General did take her son out of the Army, but put him on USO duty. Haha. By the way, she volunteered her son for Army duty because someone looking like Michael Moore doing an documentary asked her if she would do that.
