Was he a nice person?
From what you have heard or read, do you think he was a nice person? Or did you ever meet him?

From everything I read, literally a shirt off his back kind of guy. He was kind of a surfer hippie that just loved people. A genuine honest dude.

shareAside from the fame-factor, many people treat others quite often based on what they represent to them (male/female attire/ age/ gay, straight.etc.) When I see the posts these posts about stars, that is the thing that occurs to me. We all want to believe our favorite celebs are nice, true sometimes/ not true sometimes
shareI was an extra on a film he starred in. We all traveled together from LAX to Texas to shoot the movie and we all lived in the same hotel as well. I remember him as a nice guy.
But you are right. I have met and talked to Bruce Willis, I was a fan up until that point, but he tore me asunder with insults. Way out of line and extremely rude. Very bad taste. Biggest scum/bag I have ever met.
I friend of mine worked with Alec Baldwin and she claims he is an equal penis.
Perhaps these celebs occasionally get a little short autograph hunters , celeb worshippers , wannabe actors , film school students , and even just completely uninterested public who happen to recognise them and want to "talk about stuff"
Maybe if had run into whoever the day before or after they might have been totally different.
To label someone "Biggest scum/bag I have ever met." you have to know them well - not just talk to them in a line for a burger for 2 mins

shareI never met him, so obviously, I can't speak for myself. But from EVERYTHING I have heard or read, he was said to be a super nice guy. Actors, ordinary people, technical team, everyone seem to think he was a genuine and fun man to be around.
And to be honest, with his face and the way he carried himself in interviews or among people in general, even if I try, I just can't picture him being disagreeable.
I think he was, he just looked like a really sweet guy.
