It really seemed like his mean remark about equating kissing Bette Midler with kissing a dog hurt his career moving forward. Sure, the movie flopped but that usually isn't the reason you can't find more work. Ken could have easily had roles in 80% of the blockbuster movies that came out in the 80s.
shareMy godmother loved Ken Wahl during his stint on Wiseguy and sent him photos of her Wiseguy marathon night she had with friends. At some point he actually called and left a message on her answering machine thanking her for being a fan. Pretty cool move really. His leading man looks seemed to fade somewhat in the 90s though and for whatever reason he stopped getting (or looking for) TV/movie gigs all together. Wonder what he's up to now.
