So good to see that he's going so far. Arrival was a beautifully directed film. I hope he wins.

shareOne of the most undeserved nominations in years. The direction in Arrival was a total mess, with a strong feeling that director just wants his film to look "art-housy" and complex, while in fact it all is artificial and has nothing to do with the real creativity.
Nolan, I love you forever!
Amy Adams was snubbed for sure, but Johann was disqualified because of Max Richters On the Nature of Daylight.
