Just watching season 1 of Heroes and he is simply abysmal. It's a mystery how he was cast in such a prominent role.
On another note, he also seems to be physically retarded, specifically in the facial region, his lower lip in particular.

shareYeah I've always wondered why he looks like he's having the world's longest stroke. I also despised him having such a prominent role on Heros and thought perhaps it was just a problem with the director so I watched some of his other roles and it's definitely him. Then the whole dating a 17 year old when he was 30 is quite creepy, why is he not on some type of watch list?

You can tell crappy actors really easy. When someone who cant act is infront of a camera, they instinctively smile. Its the idea of being watched and recorded, the nervousness/excitement causes you to smile, especially when you are on a big show like heroes.
He ALWAYS had a smile on his face. Even in very intense and horrific moments. You can see it in his mouth, but especially in his eyes. He was terrible at controlling his facial ticks.
He is a bad actor. How he gets roles is pretty obvious. He looks the part, that is all. Hollywood these days literally is all about how people look. Editing and special effects can fix everything else.
I think anyone who defends him just has a crush on him, whether you are gay, closeted gay, or just some schoolgirl lol, you only think hes decent because you love him sexually lmao.
