I actually regret that period. He was so good and believing in what he was doing. I hope he quits Heroes in some ways and starts making good films as actor and director (yes, he also can direct).

I loved him in Gilmore Girls as well. I love Jess! He was definitely my favorite.

I LOVE Heath Ledger

Haven't watched that many episodes of GG, but from what I saw I think he did a much better job as Jess than as Peter on Heroes. It's possible he was miscast as Peter because I enjoyed him a lot more when he was playing the "bad boy" type. And he's better when he gets to do some of that on Heroes - for example, the scene in "The Second Coming" where Angela confronts Future Peter, who shot Nathan, and he has this curious little sneer on his face. Pretty awesome.
