Did she get surgery on her face? Cuz I used to watch her in
instant star and her cheekbones never looked like that...Any one knows?

I think she loosed massive amounts of weight between season 1 and 2 of V. Her cheeks look more gaunt. The gauntness of the cheeks is also the reason for the differenet look of the cheekbones.
Hope she gains it back. In season 1 I couldn't take my eyes of her, now she's just kinda hot but nothing extraordinary.
I think humanity should be wiped out and then we can give evolution a second chance.
