Laura would have been my first choice as Supergirl.

Iferrigon,

I would still pick Laura Vandervoort for the role of "Supergirl" but, Melissa Benoist is another perfect choice to play "The Girl Of Steel" and plus, her acting cousin in the show Superman will appear again from a flashback scene as Superboy becoming "The Man Of Steel" one day saving the world from evil.
