Trump is triggered by the routine display of flags at half staff for newly deceased former president.

"The Democrats are all 'giddy' about our magnificent American Flag potentially being at 'half mast' during my Inauguration," the incoming president wrote on Truth Social. "They think it's so great, and are so happy about it because, in actuality, they don't love our Country, they only think about themselves."

He added: "Look at what they've done to our once GREAT America over the past four years - It's a total mess! In any event, because of the death of President Jimmy Carter, the Flag may, for the first time ever during an Inauguration of a future President, be at half mast. Nobody wants to see this, and no American can be happy about it.

Will Trump leave orders that his passing, in the future, not be observed with flags at half-staff? Probably not.

Thank you for proving my point. Not only do you make thousands of posts about your soon to be President but when you're not obsessing about him on this page, you are scouring the internet in an effort to find anything damaging, true or not and come right back here to post more.

I have neighbors, a young couple who have never discussed politics openly. Two weeks ago I found out that the wife left the husband NOT because he voted for President Trump but because he is a Republican. They had been married for 6 years and she apparently "couldn't handle" President Trump becoming her President and that her husband is of the same political party as President Trump. I offered my apology to him and he told me that he thinks he dodged a bullet. (he did). The wife is back living with her parents and they don't know what to do with her. The wife of this couple has a mental illness like you. She will eventually get some help as should you.

I actually feel sorry for you now.

You truly have a mental illness and you truly need help.

In recognition of the life of late Democratic President Jimmy Carter, who died earlier this week at age 100, President Joe Biden issued a proclamation ordering U.S. flags to be flown at half-staff at the White House and other government locations “for a period of 30 days from the day of his death.” The proclamation is in line with a policy from the United States Department of Veteran Affairs.

That means flags will be flown at half-staff through Jan. 28 ― more than a week after Trump’s scheduled inauguration at the U.S. Capitol. The twist of fate has fueled social media fodder in recent days, with jokes about Carter leaving “one last gift” for Trump and the half-staff flags signifying not just the death of Carter, but also the death of democracy.
