Do you think he wants to be a dictator?

I do. And for those of you who say no, he didn't do that in his first term, I say this:
Do you think he'll go quietly at the end of this term the same way he did after the first term, fomenting a riotous mob that stormed the Capital with cries of "hang Mick Pence" and "where's Pelosi," and took shits in her office?

reply

The real issue here is that you've bought into the fake, media-created narrative about January 6th. There was no fomenting, riotous mob. Trump did not orchestrate anything that took place on that day, and in fact tried to have the National Guard called in to quell things. Many of the so-called protesters were undercover FBI agents, tasked with inciting a riot, and many others were Antifa, and other paid activists. And yet, despite all those anti-Trump folks on site determined to turn things into a violent riot, all that took place was a peaceful protest. Until the police opened the gates and ushered people inside the Capitol, no one stormed, or otherwise entered, the building.

Also worth noting: we live in the most heavily-armed nation in the world, and yet not a single supposed insurrectionist brought a gun. These people were allegedly there to overthrow the government, but came unarmed? No one killed anyone other than the police, who shot and killed one unarmed woman, and when the 8pm curfew came, everyone quietly packed up and went home.

So no, I see absolutely no reason to expect Trump to do anything other than lead the nation as president, as he did before, and as was done by his predecessors.

reply

Well said.

reply

Well put; unfortunately, these knuckleheads prefer to believe the lies and fake news from the regime.

reply

So there was no mob that attacked and injured the police? That claim would be a very stupid lie.

The president does not TRY to call out the National Guard. The president is the commander in chief of the military. If he wants the National Guard called out, then they are called out. If he does not want them called out, they stay put. It is that simple. Trump did not want anything to interfere with his riot. Why do you people act like Trump was some sort of spineless sheep and not the president back in 2021?

Any evidence that the FBI was undercover and inciting the riot? Of course not. If thee was, then Trump would be showing it on TV.

Why do you think every rioter did not have a gun? Ever heard of concealed carry? Concealed means you cannot see it. Duh?

The curfew went into affect at 6 pm. At 6:01 pm Trump asked the rioters to go home.

reply

...not a single supposed insurrectionist brought a gun....

Not true. According to CNN, "three individuals have been charged for bringing a gun onto Capitol grounds on January 6." Also, "According to police testimony, Christopher Alberts was arrested leaving the Capitol grounds on January 6 while trying to flee from officers after they suspected he was carrying a firearm on his hip. Alberts was carrying a loaded pistol and 25 rounds of ammunition, according to court documents."

Of course, you will cry "fake news," as it is CNN.

There were also plenty of other weapons in the mob: bats, clubs, mace and pepper spray to name a few.

reply

If a few people had a weapon on them, that doesn't change the point. We've been told the mob was there to overthrow the government. If that was the goal, why weren't they violent? Why didn't the attack anyone? Why did they do nothing more than walk around holding up signs, and then go home peacefully?

reply

And a belated Merry Christmas to you.

A few things:

We've been told the mob was there to overthrow the government. If that was the goal, why weren't they violent? Why didn't the attack anyone? Why did they do nothing more than walk around holding up signs, and then go home peacefully?

1. They weren't violent and didn't the attack anyone because by the time they got to the House Chamber floor, everyone had been ushered away, including Mike Pence of whom some were shouting, "Hang Mike Pence" while holding up nooses. Do you they were just kidding.
2. You never did answer my original question of "Do you think he'll go quietly at the end of this term the same way he did after the first term?"

reply

1. I have no idea what anyone who shouted that, if anyone even did, was thinking. I think many people will chant a slogan, or even shout a wild opinion, but it's an abstract thing, and they don't mean it literally. But perhaps some did. Or maybe those were the FBI agents, that the FBI has now admitted were there, tasked with fomenting rage in order to discredit Trump who shouted that. What matters is that no one actually *did* anything. If you want to protest with a noose and a slogan, by all means do so. Where it becomes a problem is when you begin assaulting people, a la Antifa or the BLM rioter, burning buildings, and looting stores.

2. I'm 100% sure he will. He has never said or done anything that gives me even the slightest reason for concern that he won't.

reply

So you're saying he'll completely change his behavior from 2020, when he tried to cling to his presidency against all evidence that he lost, to 2028, when he'll be losing it and he'll be relegated to the dustbin of history. Certainly.

reply

No, he'll do exactly what he did in 2020. He'll calmly and politely move out of the White House, and make no attempt to cling to the presidency.

reply

He'll calmly and politely move out of the White House

Right.

reply

I will happily bet you any amount of money you're willing to put up that he peacefully moves on when his term ends.

reply

he'll leave. Just like he did when Biden got 14 million more votes than any other presidential candidate in history.

I wonder what happened to those 14 million voters during the 2024 election?

14 million is a lot of people to just disappear.

reply

The interesting thing will be in 2028, if Trump does manage to pass strict voter protection laws that require in-person voting with a valid ID. How many votes will be cast then?

reply

I'm almost 59 and have voted in every Presidential Election as far back as I can remember and the Polling place always, ALWAYS required a Valid I.D to prove who you were and sometimes even a Utility bill as well if you had one handy and that made it even better

reply

In California I was never required to show any proof I was who I said I was. I walked into the polling place, gave my name, and was handed a ballot. I now live in Texas, where I have been required to show ID before voting every time.

reply

Then that's stupid because you could claim to be someone else you're not and vote more than once if they didn't check??

reply

It's called the honor system, and it's one of many reasons why voter fraud is so prevalent in California.

reply

I live in NY. And for my entire life including up until the 2020 election we'd just walk in tell them who we are and were given a ballot.

Since that "election" the voting regulations in NY have been different. Now a Democrat and a Republican pollster verify who you are, via your address, on a computer. Then, after verification you are given a ballot. However, they still don't check your id.

Suffice to say that since the aforementioned change, Democrats do not win anywhere in NY state outside of New York City, Albany and a few random pockets here and there...

reply

"14 million is a lot of people to just disappear."

That is an alarming large amount of people to say, "aww fuck it, i dont care whos president this election even if it is the person I fervently voted against only 4 yrs ago." It is suspect at the very least.

reply

Yes. 14 million is a lot of people to have just disappeared.

Anyone with half a brain can see that there was MASSIVE voter fraud in the 2020 election.

I wonder if anything will be done about those who were involved- probably not. Nothing bad ever happens to evil people.

reply

I guess you don't have half a brain.

reply

I guess you're not good with numbers...

reply

And what was that unarmed woman doing when she got shot?

reply

Absolutely nothing that warranted her being shot.

reply

We'll have to disagree on that. Can you tell me exactly what she was doing when she was shot?

reply

No, because I wasn't there. According to witnesses, she was climbing through a window next to a door that the police had just opened to let protestors come in.

reply

LOL That's one I've not heard before. According to every single report I've read, and the video itself, she was climbing through the smashed window beside the barricaded door, trying to get to the congresspeople, who were protected by capitol police. They were screaming "GET BACK!" and "STOP!" Meanwhile, the mob of Trump supporters were yelling, one saying "Fuck the blue!"

Is it any surprise someone would get shot in that situation? Maybe it wasn't a great idea for that innocent "unarmed woman" to try to break through the barricade?

reply

Republican/Democratic are both the same owned Wall Street Zombie Parties they don't have your interest never will Third Parties care about you legitimately stop caving into the same propaganda don't believe follow Iamblakeley on YouTube. MAGA is both Blue and Red.

reply

"I do."

Yeah, but you are known as a TDS suffering idiot. So who gives a damn?

reply

hopefully Trump will put all the whiny dems in jail. then my country will truly be free and great.

reply

What makes you so special that you can avoid being put in jail by Trump?

reply

I so hope Kamala, Brandon and Pelosi go to prison. They need to spend the rest of their miserable lives sitting in a prison cell in their own piss and shit thinking about what they did wrong.

reply

No.

reply

we can hope.

reply

No, he was clearly being sarcastic when he said that. The left has been spreading these lies about Trump for years and it’s disgusting.

He did not “foment a riotous mob”. He clearly said to be “peaceful and patriotic”. Since you care so much about “riotous mobs” apparently one would think you’d have something to say about Brandon, Kamala and Pelosi telling BLM to burn down and torch cities and kill people. They did it over 500 times.

reply

On day one, like he told Sean Hannity.

reply

All leaders want to be dictators, it is just the system is designed to guard against it.

Unless he has the loyalty of military, it is not possible.

Trump knew it could not be done, and as a billionaire, it is not in his interests.
