Of course, we all know they were just tourists who wanted to stroll around to see the wonders of the Capitol building, including Ashli Babbitt who was shot and killed entering through a window because the door was inconveniently locked. Poor Ashi, who along with five Capitol and Metro policemen, the silly geese, died on that great "gettin' up morning" or soon thereafter.
4 Officers chose to take their lives, some of them months after Jan 6th. Unfortunately, those names don't even get posted on the ODMP because they chose suicide.
The only officer in question is Ofc. Brian Sicknick who was said to have been bludgeoned to death by a fire extinguisher despite the fact that there are multiple videos of him leading people through the Capitol and he himself leaving. Ofc. Sicknick passed away the next day. The USCP accepted the findings from the District of Columbia's Office of the Chief Medical Examiner that Officer Brian Sicknick died of natural causes.
Once again, I could argue that Ofc. Sicknick passed from stokes associated with stress from the previous day but choosing to take your own life, months after an incident is something else entirely.
You made the assertion about 5 Capitol and Metro Police officers died that day or soon after.
Brian Sicknick -already mentioned
Howard Liebengood - suicide 3 days after riot
Jeffrey Smith - suicide a few days later
Kyle DeFreytag - suicide 6 months later
Gunther Hashida - suicide 6 months later
Dead is dead, whatever the cause or time lapse
BTW - what is "stokes," as in Ofc. Sicknick passed from stokes?
Sorry OP, but the only person killed at the Capitol on January 6, 2021 was Ashli Babbitt, an unarmed protestor who was shot by a cop. You are, sad to say, an uninformed moron.
Trump could have pardoned everyone arrested for the Capitol riot prior to leaving office on January 20th. He choose not to. Trump thinks the rioters were suckers.
Evidence to support your claim about what Trump thought at the time?
The president has access to some of the best legal advice on the planet. Why does Trump act like he surrounds himself with complete idiots? Oh that's right, Trump is an idiot.
I evaded nothing. I'm not your bitch. Post the answers to your own questions.
Evidence to support that claim? I posted a link that says the president can pardon anyone even if they are not charged with a crime yet. Don't you believe the supreme court?
Why aren't you posting the number of people that were arrested prior to the 20th? Why are you asking me?
The Supreme Court says the president can pardon anyone (other than impeachment) after a crime is committed. So all Trump had to say was that anyone charged with various crimes during the January 6th riot is now pardoned.
Why aren't you posting the number of people that were arrested prior to the 20th? Why are you asking me?
Evasion noted.
The Supreme Court says the president can pardon anyone (other than impeachment) after a crime is committed.
Once again, show me where they were identified and charged between the 6th and 20th. How can a nameless group of people without charges of any crimes be pardoned?

I posted a link to how Trump could have done it. Trump could have issued a blanket pardon to anyone who is eventually arrested for their actions at the riot.
You show me how they were identified and charged. See how that works? Going to knuckle under to my demands?
Trump has repeatedly claimed he can do anything per the Constitution. The Supreme Court says the president can pardon someone before they are charged. What part of that do you not understand?
The Constitution does not says that. Surely you recall that there is more to rules, regulations and laws than the Constitution? Did you miss the part where the court said it?
Why should I show you where this has been done in the past? Do you think anyone was ever stupid enough to do such a thing?
The person who wrote the article said the fact that Trump might pardon anyone involved in the riot, is hypothetical.
Therefore; unnamed persons cannot be pardoned … And also since it has never been done before.
Conclusion: Pardons cannot be provided to unidentified/unnamed persons that haven’t been charged for anything; specifically between Jan-6th and Jan-20th.
The hypothetical in the article pertains to what may be possible with pardons; notice the part about “all purely hypothetical.” … That includes their theories, conjectures and assumptions about pardons. And they never mentioned anything about pardons for a random group of unnamed and uncharged persons.
Oh, I almost forgot; it’s a good thing that it wasn’t possible to pardon a random group of persons, otherwise, that pardon would have included the 200+ Antifa/Federal assets embedded in the crowds.
I'm under no obligation to answer your questions. Trump has repeatedly claimed he can do anything which includes pardoning every rioter even if they were not arrested yet.
Why are you giving me a hard time about it when it was Trump who is making the promise?
