Election denialism emerges on the left after Trump’s win

NewsGuard, a firm that monitors misinformation, found that nearly 800 social media accounts and video channels had published false or egregiously misleading claims about the 2024 election starting on Sept. 1, along with over 960 websites and more than 1,200 “partisan sites masquerading as politically neutral local news outlets.” Sam Howard, NewsGuard’s U.S. politics editor, said that the misleading election claims had been seen on a variety of platforms, including X, Threads, Reddit and Facebook.

The FBI also released a statement addressing election misinformation in which it addressed “a fabricated video” that claimed the FBI had received “9,000 complaints about malfunctioning voting machines,” which the agency called false.

The left always do this when they lose.

And January 6th proves the Right does the same thing... Oh, did you forget already? Yeah, your party is hypocritical. :-P

Our country would be better run by a ham sandwich than the last 2 (going on 3, if you count orange man twice) have over the last 8 years.

I don't agree with JoWilli at all on almost anything. But I do agree with the initial post.

It's also interesting to see Bob Casey in PA and how nobody on the left or right seems to be paying much attention the 'recount' race.

thanks, I appreciate any support I can get.

I mean, you do realize Nancy Pelosi shoulder's much of the blame for Jan 6th for not listening to President Trump when he suggested the National Guard be brought in, 10,000 to be exact and she refused, right??

I don't think it's a terribly good idea to deploy troops on American soil... No matter who does it. Soldiers are essentially trained killers. Had that been done, it's very likely the body count would have risen dramatically... Which would NOT have benefited the country in terms of raising or lowering the overall tension and anger between the left and the right.

Wow, the colossal ignorance.

Wrong. The right only does it when it's obvious and flagrant. Did we throw a fit when Obama won, twice? No.

Go figure. lol
