If I actually believed in god, that is. The orange monster, the grifting lying scumbag topped 50% in the Iowa caucus. Desantis came in second and Nikki Haley underperformed, so that seems to dash any hopes that she might ride a surging wave into New Hampshire and win there.

So we're probably in for it. The Republican primaries will be over in weeks and Trump will be the nominee. Pity that. And he'll face off against Biden, which a majority of sane people in the U.S. do not want.

So it looks like the decks are cleared for a Trump presidency in 2024, and all his vengeful fury will begin to take place. Heil Hitler. I need a drink.

I'm not denying anything. I already said Trump will probably win the presidency again.

And yes, our democracy is precious, a beacon for the world ever since it was born out of the Declaration of Independence. And it may soon be gone.

And just so you know, Ben Franklin said it almost 250 years ago: [America} is a Republic, if you can keep it.
