Corporate bankruptcy is different than personal bankruptcy and it is not uncommon for organizations (of which Trump owns many) have to restructure. There is a lot of noise about the rampant inflation as soon as Biden took office, but what not a lot of people are talking about is the dramatic rise in interest rates set by the Fed, which went from > 1.0% under Trump, to 5.5% under Biden. This affects the interest rates on everything else (e.g. credit cards, car loans, mortgages). Not only has everything gotten more expensive under Biden, it has gotten harder to borrow to pay for all that expensive shit.
