2022 shoulda been a slamdunk for repubs in November.

But they completely botched it.

reply

This didn't age very well. Republicans own the House and will impeach Dementia Joe soon.

Retards like you don't understand the Constitution.

reply

Please elaborate on the fundamentals of the Constitution.

💯

TRump
WOn

reply

Then why is he not in the White House? Probably because he is a loser?

reply

Because the election was stolen and the dems don't want to investigate like they did in 2016.

reply

So why did Trump not want to investigate when he had the chance?

reply

The House of Representatives started the investigation based on a lie in 2017. She used the fake Steele Dossier to prompt the formation of the Mueller Report.

reply

So when Trump said he could do anything per article 2 of the constitution, he was a big fat liar? The president has a huge amount of influence. The Senate can also investigate.

reply

According to the Constitution, A President does have broad powers and can do most anything.

reply

Broad does not mean "anything". Where is your proof that the Senate is prohibited from investigating?

reply

The burden of proof is on you as you made the claim.

reply

I said Trump could investigate, as he claimed he could. There is nothing that says he cannot investigate. Are you asking me to prove a negative?

You said only the House can investigate; prove it.

You said the Senate cannot investigate; prove it.

reply

So you are saying the President can investigate, the House can and also the Senate? Can you explain in detail how this works?

reply

I was mocking Trump by repeating his claim that he could do anything per article 2 of the Constitution. So either Trump could have investigated and brought people to justice, or he was lying, insane or something else. Which do you think it was?

Meanwhile, you're claiming that only the House can investigate and that the Senate is prohibited from investigating. You should prove these claims.

Why do you make claims and refuse to support them?

reply

Trump is right though, he could have ordered the FBI to investigate but he didn't as that would be abuse of power.

Dementia Joe abused his power by ordering Garland to illegally search Trumps house. But thats another discussion. Oh also Obama said he has been to all 57 States. Was his lying or just stupid? Lets us not forget that Joe said you cant get Covid if you are vaccinated. Was his lying or just stupid?

“All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and a House of Representatives.” The Constitution first vests all federal legislative powers in a representative bicameral Congress.
Article I, Section 1

reply

Where did you get that quote from?

Everyone else's text of the Constitution says,

Article I Section 1: Congress
All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.

Keep going, why is the Senate prohibited from investigating? You still believe that Trump can do anything, or is his power limited to those in the constitution?

reply

My Constitution says the same thing. I was just saying the House of Representatives investigated the 2016 election based on a lie.

According to the Constitution, A President does have broad powers and can do most anything.

https://constitution.congress.gov/browse/article-2/#:~:text=No%20Person%20except%20a%20natural,been%20fourteen%20Years%20a%20Resident

The President has the power either to sign legislation into law or to veto bills enacted by Congress, although Congress may override a veto with a two-thirds vote of both houses. The Executive Branch conducts diplomacy with other nations and the President has the power to negotiate and sign treaties, which the Senate ratifies. The President can issue executive orders, which direct executive officers or clarify and further existing laws. The President also has the power to extend pardons and clemencies for federal crimes.

https://www.whitehouse.gov/about-the-white-house/our-government/the-executive-branch/#:~:text=The%20President%20can%20issue%20executive,and%20clemencies%20for%20federal%20crimes.

The power of the Executive Branch is vested in the President of the United States, who also acts as head of state and Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces. The President is responsible for implementing and enforcing the laws written by Congress and, to that end, appoints the heads of the federal agencies, including the Cabinet.

The president has several options when presented with a bill from Congress. If the president agrees with the bill, he can sign it into law within ten days of receipt. If the president opposes the bill, he can veto it and return the bill to Congress with a veto message suggesting changes (unless Congress is out of session, in which case the president may rely on a pocket veto).

Emergency presidential power is not a new idea. However, the way in which it is used in the twenty-first century, presents new challenges.

reply

You said only the House could investigate and the Senate was prohibited from doing so.

Trump said "anything". You're saying "most anything" which is completely different.

Repeating your lies over and over does not make them true.

reply

I said the House investigated in 2017 based on a lie.

The Presidents can do most anything. FDR went against the Constitution and made himself President for 12 years. The Dems wanted to abolish the Electoral College in 2017.

I agree, the Dems are master manipulators at repeating lies. Obama said he has been to all 57 States. Was his lying or just stupid? Lets not forget that Joe said you cant get Covid if you are vaccinated. Was his lying or just stupid?

reply

Fine. What does that have to do with your claim that only the House can investigate and the Senate cannot?

Did you think everyone was stupid enough to forget your claims if you change the topic?

reply

Not sure what you are talking about. But as you can see Presidents can do almost anything they want. See above examples.
The Senate didn't investigate the 2016 election, that was the House. Remember the fake Steele Dossier?

reply

Of course you don't. You're pretending to have forgotten your claims that only the House and not the Senate can investigate.

reply

I have not forgotten what I have said.

reply

reply

What proof? The House and Senate can have independent investigations. But the President can not investigate like you said.

reply

So why did you claim the Senate could not investigate earlier in this thread?

But Trump claims he can do anything. "Anything" would include investigating. So do you believe Trump or is he a lying SOB? Perhaps he is just delusional?

reply

I didn't claim that. I said this.

The President can do most anything as set by the Constitution.

December 10th, 2022, and Biden is still President.

How's that worked out for you, (not so) ManToTrust?

President of what? Giving away money?

Conservatives are so fucking cute. They accuse nearly all opposing news, and most facts, as "fake news" but then will blindly accept a Twitter post from a random unverified user showing something that can easily be faked by a tech-savvy middle schooler.

reply

I'm not conservative, but it's incredibly unfair to lump those twitter-fueled conspiracy theorists with real conservatives.

reply

Look in the mirror. Liberals believed an FBI faked Russian collusion conspiracy theory for 4 years. 4. YEARS. 🤣 retards

reply

Yet you're the one believing this nonsense. How are you any better than the 'retards'?

Merry Trumpmas!

Is that when the morbidly obese ElfTrump sneaks down the chimney to confiscate more guns from Americans?

"ManToTrust"... LOL, except when it comes to predictions about the future, I guess? The only thing Biblical is how far wide of the target that prediction was.
