You either build a wall or you don't. It's not like you can build a half height wall or one that only covers half the border.

This could be a really long shut down.

Or the Republican senators could join with Democrats to vote to reopen government. Very simple solution.

So far there are three who have sided with the Dems. I don't think they need many more for it to pass.

Two thirds vote needed to override Trump's objection.

Trump can veto a bill with a simple majority. They'd need about 20 Republican Senators to join.

Nah... Dems don’t want to crush T-rumps promise that he will have Mexico pay for the wall. This is all his.

Send illegals to the neighborhoods of rich white people.

Tell Trump we'll take illegals, but we're sending them to Obama's/Soros'/Clinton's/etc. etc. 93% white neighborhoods.

Didn't democrats offer $25 billion over a decade to fund Trump's wall in exchange for DACA but Trump rejected the compromise? The wall back then wasn't worth a path to citizenship so now he's demanding nearly 80% less while forcing TSA, FAA etc. workers to work without pay.

Current compromise offer if I recall was something along the lines of $1.5 billion or so for the wall to open the government back up.
