Amid controversy, 'Red Lobster' says 'adios' to Tucker Carlson
Red Lobster Restaurants is the latest company to pull their advertisements from 'Tucker Carlson Tonight', after the host made racist remarks about illegal immigration last month, and remarks about women's pay last week. The company joins dozens of other advertisers who have pulled their ads from his show in the last few weeks.
“Red Lobster’s advertising buying guidelines reflect our core values and commitment to supporting programming that represents the highest standards of good taste, fair practice and objectivity,” the company said in a statement.
“We reserve the right to make changes to our purchases when the dialogue is no longer in line with our criteria,” the company added.
