Thanks T-rump: Gas prices surging

In the past year, gas prices have been surging at the pumps rising 15% this year alone. Most of the country is now seeing prices averaging between $2.75 - 2.90 per gallon, and passing the $3 mark will not be too surprising by Memorial Day. In the past few weeks, most of the nation has seen an increase of 18 cents at the pump.

The past few years, drivers have seen the price of regular gas below $2.50 a gallon after hitting the $3 mark in 2014. It's been on the rise since T-rump took office in January, 2017.

Thank You, T-rump! Just what your constituents wanted - higher gas prices to go to your rallys this summer!

Clearly doggie lemming is incapable of explaining gas prices even though he brought up the subject. Poor ignorant hate filled demokkkrat lemming.

Post often lemming. You’re an outstanding example of the ignorant hate filled left, and it’s good for all to see.

Yup, just paid $2.03 yesterday.

Oil prices have collapsed and may possibly drop below $50 a barrel. Bad for the producers but good for consumers

Thanksgiving Weekend 2018 gas prices at the pump are the highest they have been in four years. We're paying more now than we did a year ago.

we do not import oil from saudi so why does it affect our gas prices big business got the chump they wanted as president and got the tax breaks shame on us for believing all the lies they told

Because oil is a global commodity and there is a global market in it, and that market has it priced out. If I can only sell my oil for $50 a barrel in the US, but Europe will buy my oil for $100 a barrel, then the people with oil sell to Europe until Americans decide they cannot get enough gas at $50 a barrel and decide to up their sell price.

reply

Exactly. Oil sanctions reinstated against Iran went into effect this month too thanks to Trump.
