Speaking about nukes, Vanity Fair magazine ran an excellent article about the Depart. of Energy whose job it is to safeguard nukes from terrorists, guard against nuclear contamination in our communities, prevent nuclear accidents, safeguard our electric grid from attacks. Trump is hostile to this dept.(appointed incompetent head, severe budget cuts, personnel shortages) which is endangering us.

Long article but informative and worth reading. I didn't know they were responsible for the internet, Kevlar vest, fracking, solar and wind technologies through their funding of private researchers which Trump has mothballed.
