Blacks and Hispanics

People are always saying race doesn't matter but every board on black actors and actresses are filled with what is their ethnicity or racial background rather than talking about their talent and career which shows this country is so color conscious and base everything on race still, so stop contradicting yourself when you say race don't matter but yet still ask. I don't see anyone asking about Angelina Jolie racial background, I wonder where she got her full lips from surely not from the white race but no one would dare say she maybe have some black in her possibly from the past (I'm curious about her adopting all these black kids) but even if she did have some black in her, she still would say she was white because that's what she dominantly is and you all wouldn't want to see her as nothing else because white is right and black is nothing in this world, right?

Not all mixes are pretty, there's ugly and pretty in every race and color, but your opinion is your opinion so don't think everyone agrees with you and think everyone is pretty because their mixed. Hell, were all mixed, didn't we come from Adam and Eve, the birth parents of this world. No one is truly mixed, there's always a race that is dominant in you whether you have various blood are not, you could never be all those races you claim to be half of, there's always a dominant race that you resemble more and that the world sees you as, so stop acting mixed up because that's what most of you are, mixed up, don't know who you are or have a culture or race to call your own. There's Indian in my family yet I know I can never be Indian nor would they accept me, its very little compared to the majority of Black in me. Some like to call themselves mixed to seem special, yet half of the races they claim to have in them wouldn't accept them. It must be sad not to have a race or culture that you can relate to and call your own.

There's an old black actor who looked black like he was African, but he was from Puerto Rico, he didn't look like an average Puerto Rican like Gina Torress. But when you heard him talk, he sounded like a Puerto Rican yet he looked so Black, he had the dark skin and everything but he was from Puerto Rico, I don't know why he looked so black...I guess he was an Afro/Cuban, if there's such a thing.

Celia Cruz, an older singer, was an so-called afro/cuban, she was from Puerto Rico but looked Black.

I had some friends growing up who were from spanish countries, yet they were black but from places like Panama, Puerto Rico, Mexico.

Hispanics are a lot like Blacks, they have various complexions and colors as well. Hell, some even have kinky hair, you got your darkest Hispanics, brown Hispanics and even pale skinned Hispanics, some even have blonde hair and blue eyes.

I bet most of the movie offers Gina Torress get will be black-oriented roles and she will portray roles of black women more so than cuban women.
Gina Torress looks Blacks to me, so obviously the black in her is more dominant than the Cuban because she has hair like the average black, features like the average black...she has full lips, larger nose, kinky hair that she straightens. I think she knows she dominantly Black but there's Cuban there to but she knows she can never be fully Cuban. Like Halle Berry she acknowledges her mother is white yet she know she's dominantly black and it makes no sense looking black and trying to live off the little white that is in you because whites don't accept half way, you either all white or nothing. I mean there's white ancestry in many Blacks, some it shows more than others, so what makes Halle bi-racial ... because she has a more current white relative than a black with a white relative from the past? I'm about the same color as Halle maybe lighter yet both of my parents are Black, so she's no more bi-racial than I am. Many so-called bi-racial kids are coming out more black looking than white because the black genes and heredity is stronger (I have next door neighbors who are a black and white couple and their children look more african than I do, big lips, big nose, kinky hair ) and many of them are growing up knowing their black but than you got dumb parents who try to raise their kid to say their black and white or bi-racial or mixed, hoping they'll get special treatment than an average black because they got some white in them and have a white parent, which is dumb when they don't look white so they'll be living a pipe dream until reality hits them when they go out in society and find people don't care what's in you but what's on the outside and judge you by that.

African American doesn't automatically mean black, african american term should be for people who are newly from African. African American doesn't automatically mean Black either because there are whites in Africa, like Charlize Theron, the actress, obviously she's white but she's from Africa, she's a true African American.
