Gina Torres as Storm of the X-Men?

Gina would have been much better than Hally. Hally Berry is a good actress, but seriously would you believe her to kick ass?

She would have made a much better Storm. I know guys who like Halle's looks are going to be pissed, but she was a terrible Storm.

I also thought Gina might have made a better Zee (sp) in Matrix Revolutions. The woman that did that part was good, but after seeing her kick ass in Firefly I think she would have been better.

To further support this, anyone remember how she was in Hercules: The Legendary Journeys as Nebula?

She's a storm all her own, with an amazon/goddess appeal to her. THATS STORM!

Halle, is lovely, granted, but she was too--uh, puny. Her mucked up accent, and yes MUCKED, was insulting in the first movie, she didn't know what to do with herself in the second movie, so in the third...they decided to give her a lil' more sex appeal. What can ya do? Gina would've been gold for Storm.

I wish. Halle Bery was box office appeal placement but Gina Torres just looks more like her and would have felt like a leader.

Halle Berry played Storm as too wet - mind you the films like the comics became all about Wolverine.

I agree. Gina has that leadership quality vibe, while Halle though beautiful is too delicate.
