She NEEDS to fire her agent

Okay, I don't know who her agent is, but she seriously needs a new one. I know she has talent, probably more than a handful of actresses out there today. Yet the only movie roles she's in are teeny-bopper movies or Scary Movie 5. I was impressed with her performance on Sons of Anarchy, playing a hooker and I realized that she needs to do more adult roles like this, she's freaking 27 years old, and way too old to be playing teenagers.
There was a thread in here about her doing a horror movie, and I completely agree with that. She should do a real horror movie, not this Scary Movie 5 sh*t. I bet she could've done well in Scream 4, the remake of Nightmare on Elm Street, or something similar to those.

Agreed. She really does have talent but she needs a good film (or show- American Horror Story?) to showcase it.

FINALLY. I agree with the OP. People hate Ashley, because they mostly associate her with Scary Movie 5, and High School Musical, but there is so much more to her than those roles.

Phineas and Ferb and Sons of Anarchy prove that she's more capable of what she does, than what most people give her credit for.

I think she's a great actress, and I did love her in High School Musical (although I'm ashamed now to say I've watched all three!) She definitely needs to get some more adult, mature roles and show people her talent.

I don't think her agent is the problem, I think it's her. This is going to sound really mean so forgive me for that, but I just don't think she has it. I think if she was going to have that major breakout role that it would have happened by now. Her role on Sons of Anarchy was the edgiest thing she's done and she got that because of who she knows (she said it, not me), not because of a great audition, and I don't think she was all that great on there. I think Ashley would do well in campy stuff like HSM and Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure. Even on Hellcats, I didn't find her to be very strong and she didn't hold my attention the way the other actors did, especially Aly Michalka.

Ashley seems like a sweet girl, I just don't think she'll ever be a major acting force.

I think out of respect, I think she would be fitting for voice acting/being a musician. Candace makes great use of talent and shows that she is talented vocally and takes advantage of that.
